Bangalore’s World-Famous Semi-Deluxe Writing Program is an 8-weekend long creative writing course that features leading Bangalore writers as faculty. Taught in the form of lectures, workshops, assignments, discussions and a whole lot of writing. The next edition of the program begins on June 29, 2019 and has 25 seats. The program is brought to you by course directors and acclaimed writers Anjum Hasan, Zac O’ Yeah and Eshwar Sundaresan in association with Shoonya.

+ 6 afternoon workshops
The program begins on June 29, 2019 and runs for eight consecutive weekends (15 days). Last day of class will be August 17, 2019. Students will also be able to attend bonus lectures and talks.
Faculty include leading practitioners in their respective fields, ranging from short fiction to poetry, thriller writing to travelogues, literary concepts and journalism, to name a few.
Applications for the full course for 2019 are closed. You may register to drop-in to 12 of the 15 classes at a fee of Rs 2,300. Only 5 drop-ins per class. See the schedule below.
