THE DESIRE PROJECT WORKSHOP
WHEN: Sep 07-08, 2019 | 10.00 AM – 5.00 PM
FEE: 5600 INR
The Desire Project workshop looks at how we hold desire in our bodies. Of the firm belief that reclaiming and taking ownership of our desire is a path towards empowerment, the workshop invites participants to explore sensations, emotions and questions on identity, desire, longing and belonging. The intuitive body is central to our explorations for its capacity to bridge the conscious and unconscious, the inner and outer experience.
We will use authentic movement practices as a language to access deep layers of inner knowing, feeling, memory, sensation, and possibility organized in the living library of the body. Longings, fears, emotion, and unrealized impulses are allowed to emerge from the body-mind consciousness and be integrated. While movement and dance are the primary language, in order to fully embody what arises in our healing and expressive processes, this is complemented by embodied writing, drawing, photography and witness practice.
