Crafting Characters is an acting workshop designed to help actors,experienced or a beginner to create their own method and build a process for themselves that makes them a better and a more seasoned performer through different exercises and improvisations.

*About the Trainer*

Surabhi Vasisht is an Actor, Director and Costume Designer who has worked with troupes across the state and country.
She discovered theater back when she was in college and her passion for creating theater and its collaborative process was ignited. She pursued theater professionally after obtaining a Diploma from the acclaimed institute of NINASAM, a theatre school located in the town of Heggodu in Sagar Taluk. She went on to work with renowned Kannada Theater Groups like Sanket, Samudhaya, Benaka, Sanchari Theatre, Kreative Theatre to name a few and made her name as an actor and also winning the “Best Actress Award” at the Bharat Yatra Kendra for her performance in the play “Mysuru Mallige”.
She also dabbled in television and delivered hits like “Parvati Parameshwara” and also worked with household names like T.N.Seetharam in “Mahaparva”
Her quest to take her creative expression to the next level prompted her to pursue a professional course in direction conducted by Indian ensemble under the mentoring of Abhishek Majumdar.
Her debut play Sandhana had a successful run of 7 shows to packed houses across different venues in Bangalore

Through this elaborate journey in the theater circle Surabhi has established a name for herself and is now on the quest of imparting all the knowledge she has gathered over the past 15 years through this workshop to help actors become seasoned performers.
