Charting: A Workshop on Projection, Sensation & Drawing

On one side, medical images are the most cases bewildering, especially as they appear in cases of a testimony of imbalanced health and then are given some authority over the decision of how to proceed with a patients medical and personal future. On the other side medical images like MRIs, or those taken from radiology, give us another perspective of how our inner body is structured and how certain elements share neighborhoods.

At this workshop, we will look at those images, and through those images of uncertainty or certainty, we explore and share what we actually carry around each day or what makes us alive and enjoy every moment. By appropriating those images with drawing technique using wax crayons and water colors we would like to make those images either familiar, extend or dissolve them, or explore whatever personal relation is possible.
